What is AI Extractability?

AI Extractability is a proprietary metric (0-100) that measures how easily AI systems like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google SGE can understand, extract, and cite information from your content.

How We Calculate the Score

Your AI Extractability score is calculated from four key factors:

Direct Answer Presence (25%)

Does your content provide clear, concise answers to questions? We look for:

  • Definition paragraphs that start with "X is..."
  • FAQ sections with question-answer pairs
  • Summary statements at the beginning of sections
  • Clear conclusions and takeaways

Factual Density (25%)

AI systems prefer content rich in specific, verifiable information:

  • Statistics and numerical data
  • Specific dates and timeframes
  • Named entities (people, places, organizations)
  • Cited sources and references

Content Structure (25%)

Well-organized content is easier for AI to parse:

  • Short, focused paragraphs

Semantic Clarity (25%)

How clearly your content communicates its topic:

  • Topic consistency throughout the page
